In order to provide our customers with the best shopping experience, our systems are automated and therefore orders cannot be cancelled after they are placed. If a cancel option appears next to your order in your order history section, then you may cancel your order.

All orders can be returned up to 30 days after the ship date for a full refund minus shipping and gift wrap costs. If you would like to return a product from your order, simply send us an email at sales@scentjohn.com and we will send you the specific information for carrying out the return.

You can expect a refund within one billing cycle of us receiving your returned product. Within the US we may be able to provide a return label.

There will be an additional $5 deduction from the refund, for label usage.

Shipping costs are non-refundable for undelivered, unclaimed, returned and refused packages, unless we made an error.

Also, we understand that customers must open items before determining if they like it. As long as the item is not excessively used, we will process a full refund for it, else you will be subject to partial refund.

To get your fragrance spraying again, please follow these instructions below:

1. Hold one finger against the spray nozzle.
2. Use your other finger to pump the spray ten to fifteen times.
3. Remove your finger from the spray nozzle.
4. Pump the spray another ten to fifteen times as needed.
5. Allow the fragrance bottle to settle for 5 – 10 minutes.

Fragrances are mixtures of different raw materials or perfume oils. These raw materials can be natural or synthetic and are mixed with a solvent to preserve and dilute the scent.

The concentration of raw material on your fragrance will determine the duration when worn. The most diluted fragrances are the most affordable, but the more concentrated fragrances last longer and have a richer scent.

The concentration level of the different categories of scents are listed below:

Eau Fraiche: 1 – 3% perfume oil; usually lasts less than an hour

Cologne (Eau de Cologne): 2 – 4% perfume oil, usually lasts around two hours

Toilette (Eau de Toilette): 5 – 15% perfume oil; usually lasts around three hours

Perfume (Eau de Parfum): 15 – 20% perfume oil; usually lasts five to eight hours

Parfum: 20 – 30% perfume oil; long-lasting all day long

We currently ship to the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes for shipments outside the United States. These fees will be levied once a packages reaches your country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what the costs may be. Kindly contact your local customs office to ascertain the applicable fees.

Yes, we ship to these and all international destinations via USPS courier service. This includes APO/FPO addresses. Customs duties and taxes may be collected at the time of delivery.

After an order has been placed, for orders shipping within the United States it takes typically 3 – 5 business days for the shipment to arrive at its destination. For orders outside of the United States, it may take 7 – 14 business days depending on the country.

There may be delays due to unforeseen circumstances with may impact the time of arrive; such as bad weather conditions, natural disasters, detours, etc. In any circumstances, you will be duly informed if there is a delay in your shipment.

There is no difference in the fragrance between a splash or spray bottle. The only difference is the method of application. Deciding between spray and splash is a matter of personal preference.
